Go Green with ONCC and Save!

ONCC is working to reduce its environmental footprint by providing certification products and services in a responsible manner. You can help, by applying for certification online. ONCC offers a secure online registration system that is easy to use and available 24/7. The online registration system helps ONCC to reduce costs by reducing the amount of data entry and paper handling needed to complete application processing. ONCC is passing those costs on to candidates. Certification fees for applications submitted online via ONCC’s registration system are $25 lower than fees for paper applications submitted by mail or fax. Learn more about 2010 certification at www.oncc.org.

New Recognition Award for Smaller Employers

If you work for a small employer that is supportive of certification, ONCC has good news for you. In 2010, ONCC will offer two of its prestigious recognition awards: one for employers with less than 25 registered nurses, and one for those who employ more than 25 registered nurses. Submit your nomination now at http://www.oncc.org/awards/employer.shtml. Nominations are due December 1, 2009.

Recognize the Outstanding Certified Nurses in Your Chapter

Is there an oncology certified nurse (OCN®, AOCN®, AOCNP® or AOCNS®) in your chapter who deserves recognition for achievements in oncology nursing practice, service, and promotion of certification? If so, submit a nomination for the 2010 OCN® of the Year Award, or the Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse of the Year Award. Nominations for these awards are due December 1, 2009.
